I love this spin on traditional coleslaw, the addition of fresh pineapple really makes the flavors pop. I served it with Southern Fried Chicken and it proved to be a great accompaniment to this classic dish. I think it would be a great addditon with fried fish, pulled pork sliders or any other dish to complete your summer picnic. It is sure to dazzle the tastebuds with its Polynesian flavors!
Grilled Vegetable Antipasta Platter (Keto friendly)

American Southern Fried Chicken
Nothing says “Summer Picnic” better than fried chicken and coleslaw. I recently had a friend who told me she learned how to make “the best fried chicken ever!” She told me the step by step instructions. I guess the thought stayed in my mind because I have had the urge to make fried chicken ever since.
Candied Orange Peel
I love the taste of dark chocolate and orange together. Recently a friend took as to a local Gelateria and I tasted a fabulous gelato from Sicily. Wow! Almond and orange together! I could just feel the warm breeze of Sicily as I tasted that delicious flavor combination!
Lemon Tiramisu
Summer desserts are all about being cool, refreshing and light. This lemon Tiramisu is light and airy with just the right amount of lemon and sweet. Don’t let the name distract you, this Tiramisu has no coffee or cocoa in it. But it is created in the exact same recipe and style as a true Tiramisu. If you don’t want to distract your guests you may try just calling it a lemon cake or Torta di Limone.

Hot Fudge Sauce
What is better than decedent hot fudge sauce melting over your ice cream? Homemade hot fudge sauce, that what!!! This is easy to make and stores well in a pint size mason jar. A fun dessert to make when served with ice cream and homemade Fudge Brownies! My husband added a layer of peanut butter and it was a hit! Hot fudge sauce is also fun and delicious as a fondue. Serve hot with marshmallows, graham crackers, fresh fruit and sponge cake!
