If you don’t want to distract your guests you may try just calling it a lemon cake or Torta di Limone.

What is better than decedent hot fudge sauce melting over your ice cream? Homemade hot fudge sauce, that what!!! This is easy to make and stores well in a pint size mason jar. A fun dessert to make when served with ice cream and homemade Fudge Brownies! My husband added a layer of peanut butter and it was a hit! Hot fudge sauce is also fun and delicious as a fondue. Serve hot with marshmallows, graham crackers, fresh fruit and sponge cake!

Peach Season is here!

Ahhhh, the peak of the Summertime is late July, and nothing says Summer better than a homemade peach crisp slowly melting a dallop of vanilla ice cream that has been scooped on top. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits, from the fuzzy soft skin to the blush of red around the gnarled pit, I love this summer stone fruit!

Delicious “Almond Roca” or Butter Toffee with Amonds and Chocolate

I love the taste of Almond Roca and its so easy to make! I decided to whip up a batch for those moments when you just want something sweet but don’t want to commit to eating an entire dessert. I’ve made this Almond Roca three times since I have been here in Italy. One time it was to give away to friends in small gift bags and all of the girls loved it! Italian don’t really have this type of candy so it’s a real novelty!
